The OPC Expert trial version has a 4-hour time limit. After 4 hours have passed, simply restart OPC Expert. Many of our users employ OPC Expert as troubleshooting client at no cost. OPC to Excel functionality is limited to a 1-hour time limit and a maximum of 15 items. An OPC Expert Pro license removes these limitations. All other functionality (tunneling, bridging, etc.) is fully functional within the 4-hour time limit.

Once activated, a standard OPC Expert Pro license cannot move to new hardware. The licensing process registers your version of OPC Expert Pro on the hardware that it was activated on. If users require a more mobile version, an OPC Expert Pro USB Key is available. The USB Key enables users to move their licensed version of OPC Expert Pro to different hardware.
Extended Software Maintenance enables users the opportunity to download the latest version of OPC Expert Pro, which may include new functionality, updates, and bug fixes. Each OPC Expert Pro license comes with 1 year of software maintenance and can be extended yearly. Once expired, Extended Software Maintenance cannot be added to a license retroactively. We recommend keeping up to date on Extended Software Maintenance to ensure your version continues to run seamlessly. Extended Software Maintenance is purchased from the Shop.
