OPC Expert enables users to archive values and store them regardless of change. Follow instructions below:
- Select items to archive, right-click selection, and selection option (Archive > Create new archive)
- In dialog box "Create new archive", select the appropriate option (CSV in this example)
- In Archive dialog box, select radio button "Archive all values regardless of change"
This option is necessary when users want to record data even when it does not change. This is necessary for cases requiring tight tracing or genealogy such as environmental monitoring, food and beverage (21 CFR Part 11), automotive, etc.
